I love interdisciplinary topics which are definitely increasing in our modern and various & crazy society:)
This Asian Contemporary artist called LI XIAOFANG did an exceptionally beautiful work by designing clothes out of porcelain. There is still this old school folkloric aspect in his art piece of painting the porcelain in a traditional, old manner but with the new contemporary wind blowing in, bringing new depictions and ideas to paint (Lacoste collaboration). I love the combination of old and new, to crash them into pieces, the artisanal aspect, the fashion creation, etc. Finally somebody who achieved in my eyes something innovative and new in Contemporary Art! (this is, in my eyes, really a defiance nowadays)
